Korean international student Lee Young-geun (29, pictured) received the Best Thesis Award at Iowa State University in the United States.
Mr. Lee, who has been pursuing a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship at this university since August 2016, stated on the 24th, “Among the theses by graduate students from eight colleges, ‘The Power of Love: The Relationship Between Entrepreneurial Passion and Corporate Performance’
It was announced that the graduation thesis titled [title] received this award. Lee’s name can also be found on the list of winners published on the university’s website (www.iastate.edu). After receiving recommendations for outstanding theses from each department, the Graduate Committee makes the final selection of the most outstanding graduation thesis.
This university, which does not have a valedictorian system, awards a medal of merit and a letter of appreciation in the name of the president to recipients of outstanding graduation theses at the graduation ceremony. This is also officially recorded in the graduation booklet and the recipients’ transcripts.
Mr. Lee, a graduate of Hanyang University’s School of Business Administration, earned a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management from Temple University’s Fox School of Business.
In January 2018, at the USASBE (USASB), the largest conference in the field of entrepreneurship, he [conducted] a paper titled “The Impact of University Entrepreneurship Education on Entrepreneurial Capability” in various sectors
It also received the Grand Prize along with the Best Paper Award.
