On November 16, 2022, a dinner event for Seattle alumni was held at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Bellevue to commemorate the President’s visit.

About 15 people attended and graced the event, and it was particularly meaningful as it marked the first time Hanyang University alumni were discovered and organized in the Seattle area following the President’s visit.

The organization of this alumni gathering was made possible thanks to the efforts of many people, including alumni Han Chang-hwan (Electronics ’85), Ha Seong-gwang (Computer Science ’90), and K-Jeon (HGCEO 9th class).

In particular, alumna Jung Min-hee (Piano ’83) was dedicating herself to her alma mater as the president of the Seattle Alumni Association, and

Alumna Jung Min-hee stated, “Now that we have discovered such wonderful new alumni, I will do my utmost to revitalize the Seattle regional alumni association.”
